Overview of the Reference list panel

To open the References list panel, click on ‘Reference list’ in the side navigation panel on the left sidebar or select ‘References’ from the Project dashboard.

On the right, you can access the main list of references uploaded into a project. You can also filter results with duplicates. Use the chevrons (▼▲) to sort your results by publication date, name or title, etc.

From any reference, you can jump directly to the Reference details view by choosing the “Open reference details view” button in the top right-hand corner. If you want to check the abstract or other bibliographic data of a particular reference without entering the reference details, you can preview it by clicking on the reference and selecting ‘Bibliographic data’. In this panel you can also import PDFs and export references.

On the left you can filter references by batch, status, year, PDF availability, MeSH terms etc.

  • ↑ + ↓ - Navigate up and down the list
  • Space - select the reference
  • Enter - Enter the Reference details view

In this view, you will find three types of reference lists:

  • Main List
  • List with Duplicates
  • Removed References

Please note that references can be removed even after record distribution. However, if you remove a reference at that stage, it will also be excluded from the PRISMA diagram. Removed references are moved to a separate list, where they can still be restored if needed.

To remove a reference, select the reference from the list and click the “Remove” button.
