Data extraction - introduction

Please note that your view and options available in the dashboard will vary depending on your
permissions within the project and organisation - for example, you may not have access to Team Management or References Sections. The description below shows the full functionality usually associated with the Administrator/Manager role.

After selecting a project from the main Project Listyou will be moved to the Project Dashboard. In the Project Dashboard,  you will find the following sections:

  • On the right-hand side, you can monitor the current progress of each stage of your systematic review separately as well as jump to the specific stage dashboard.

  • On the left you will find support materials (if provided by your project manager).

  • On the left sidebar you will see tabs for the stage and team management in the project as well as an icon (eye) that moves you to the screening/extraction tasks.

  • Three dots icon at the down left corner contains a move to the Resources sectio(Highlights, Vocabularies and Templates), as well as team management in the whole organization.

To start Data extraction, you can click on the 'My Task' section of the Project Dashboard. If the tab is light blue, it means you have tasks assigned to you. If it's white, you need to distribute it. You can also click on the Eye icon in the left sidebar. If the records have not been distributed yet, you will see an empty tab.

If tab ‘My task’  section is white, it means that you have to set up the Data extraction stage.

Project dashboard interface with a sidebar navigation panel on the left, a 'My Tasks' section and project details in the centre, and a progress panel on the right. Two ways to start a review are highlighted - the My Tasks tab and the eye icon in the sidebar.
