Modification of extracted data on Reference list

On the reference list  you have access to the ‘Extraction’ tab in the Reference details. This tab allows you to preview data extractions and Quality Assurance. You can also select which version of the extracted data (post 1st extraction or QA) you wish to edit.

To edit a data extraction, click on the 'References' tab in the left hand sidebar and find a reference to edit. Next select 'Extraction'. In the right hand panel you can select which version of the extraction you wish to view and edit.

To edit the first extraction (or extraction after  Quality Assurance), select that extraction from the versions list and click ‘Edit’. You will see the second panel with Edit mode. Any field with an edit that you’re making will turn blue, as will the original field in the first column.

When you are finished editing, save your changes and this version will automatically appear in the version list and be marked as the latest.

Note: you can only edit data that has been extracted but not yet forwarded to the next stage, for example, a reference after the 1st extraction but not yet sent to QA - in that case, in the Extraction panel, an alert ‘Modifications is not possible’ will appear.

At any time you can choose which version should be the final one, and, as a result, will be visible in the Extraction summary. To do this, select the appropriate version from the list and click ‘Mark as final’.
