Laser AI is a tool that uses Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Machine Learning (ML) to support Title and abstract screening. Our model supports your screening process by prioritising records based on their probability of inclusion. It means that during your screening, you will see the records with the highest likelihood of meeting your inclusion criteria first.
The model will be trained automatically as you start screening - you don't need to take any specific action to enable sorting by inclusion probability. To activate the sorting feature, you need to screen at least 32 records and have at least one included and one excluded record. If you choose to do your screening in the reference list instead of using the focus model, remember to click the AI model button, in focus mode the tool will automatically apply a new ranking.
