Set up conflicts resolution during the Title and abstract screening

TABLE OF CONTENTS

General information

In each Stage Dashboard there's a separate panel dedicated to Conflicts, where you can preview all current conflicts ('Show List'), their type (Include vs Exclude/Exclude vs Exclude) and set the method of their resolution. To select the conflict resolution method, select the arrow icon next to the conflicts summary.
By default all conflicts will be sent back to Researchers for conflict resolution.

The List of conflicts allows you to preview all references being in conflict, as well as the decisions of individual Researchers. You can also check certain reference details and bibliographic data by clicking on the icons in the top right corner.

To set up a methodology for conflict resolution, go to the Conflict section in the Title and abstract stage dashboard.

There are two possible ways of conflict management, and both of them are applicable for the IN vs. OUT as well as OUT vs. OUT conflicts:

  • Automatic conflict management (default option) - in this option, each current and future record being in conflict will be resolved using a solving strategy specified by a Project Manager.

  • Non-automatic conflict management - when you block the option ‘Automate conflict management', only current conflicts will be resolved in a method specified by admin. For future conflicts, the procedure will have to be repeated.

In vs OUT conflicts

In the case of IN vs OUT conflicts, there are two possible solving strategies:

  • Solving by researchers involved in the conflict/or other researchers

  • Solving according to status - all records being in conflict may be included/excluded.
