How to build highlights set

1. To create a new highlight set, first click on the 'create set of highlights' icon.

2. Enter a name for your set.

3. Specify who will have access to the set. You have two options:

  • The set could be available to all organization members.

  • The set could be available only to you (i.e., the set is not yet finished, and you are still working on it).

4. Add text terms to the relevant section.

Highlights section is divided into two parts - positive ones (consistent with the inclusion criteria) and negative ones (suggesting that records may be irrelevant). To enter a highlight manually, write a word or phrase related to the specific inclusion or exclusion criteria and press Enter. If your Highlights are in Excel, you can copy or comma-divide all the cells and paste them into a field - they will automatically be divided into separate Highlights.

Tip: You don't have to enter all possible variants of highlights into the instruction. If you have words with similar endings, e.g. randomisation, randomised and random - just enter only random* (with an asterisk at the end), and you will find all similar terms.

5. Finally assign highlights to the proper domain and click ‘save’

Steps to add a set of highlights to the Highlights library: 1. Click on 'Create Set of Highlights'; 2. Enter a name for the set; 3. Specify the access type; 4. Add text terms to the sections; 5. Save the set in the appropriate folder.

A visual overview will help researchers to speed up their decision-making process. Researchers can also use highlights as filters - click here to see how to use filters

However, all project managers and researchers  have access to these highlight sets   in projects where they have permission to upload and modify them according to the specific project topic. They can also save these new highlight sets  as organization assets. Data Managers, Admins, or Owners can accept or reject these new highlight set at the organization level
